Some of the biggest names in Building Information Modelling have been confirmed to speak at Digital Construction Week after the Conference Programme for the Digital Construction Show was revealed by organisers Exposure Media.
Held in London’s Business Design Centre on October 21st and 22nd 2015, DCW 2015 will host headline presentations delivered by Autodesk‘s Vice President, Phil Bernstein (BIM is just the beginning), Head of BIM at the UK‘s BIM Task Group, David Philp (More than just BIM), the Cabinet Office‘s Head of Construction, David Hancock (The Future of Government Construction), VDCO Inc.‘s Director, Birgitta Foster (Chair’s Introduction) and Bentley Systems‘ CEO, Greg Bentley (Keynote). Quite the roster of headliners.
BIM discussion is certainly not just reserved for the headline symposiums, as a plethora of elite professionals representing the sector are to take to the rostrum across the two days in a variety of panel discussions and solo talks.
Day One will feature the What is Digital Construction panel featuring the aforementioned Philp, Soluis‘ Martin McDonnell, BAM Design‘s Andrew Pryke and more. Following that, Digital in the growth and diversification… will feature Class of Your Own‘s Alison Watson sharing the stage with the likes of BIM2050‘s Dwight Wilson and Laing O’Rourke‘s James Eaton. October 21st marks a busy day for Eaton, as he will also speak at ICE BIM 2015.
The first day of proceedings will be rounded out by The Digital Client, What you need to know which will see Lend Lease Europe‘s Head of BIM, Rahul Shah and Hampshire County Council‘s Allister Lewis discuss how digital technologies can be utilised to win bids.
Day Two will feature a keynote address from Greg Bentley (above) whilst Industry Change & a New Way of Working will feature Balfour Beatty‘s Neil Thompson and BAM FM‘s Kath Fontana share the stage with EC Harris‘ Simon Rawlinson and URS‘ David Glennon. Now that is a Fantastic Four.
All of that will be accompanied by the Westminster Reception, Autodesk Leadership Conference and Digital Construction Awards also, ensuring that those three days in October should 100% be in your calendar!
