Aggregate Industries have the largest BIM-enabled product offering within the hard landscaping sector following a large release of their Charcon range of kerbs and paving.
According to Building Talk, over 200 products have been created in BIM format via an in-house content creation team.
The Charcon staff have not only been trained in content creation, yet the company is also now ‘BIM ready’ in response to the UK Government’s 2016 mandate thanks to assistance and guidance from BIM2050‘s Henry Fenby-Taylor. Taylor is the perfect man to provide tutelage as he is Landscape BIM System Designer for Colour Urban Design. He was also appointed to write ‘BIM for Landscape‘, a Landscape Institute publication.
The products can be viewed and downloaded via the Aggregate Industries website here.
