A Nottingham, United Kingdom-based building, environmental and infrastructure consultancy have discussed the impact that Building Information Modelling has had on their business.
BWB Consulting have company headquarters in Nottingham and offices in Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester, and recent growth has led to the consulting practice opening a base in London. This recent spur of success has led the BIM adopters to put themselves forward for several categories in the Nottingham Post Business Awards.
The firm are nominated in the Company of the Year and Services Award categories. BWB will be showing off the projects that they have implemented BIM on at the ceremony, which takes place on May 14th.
Discussing being “early embracers” of BIM, Managing Director Steve Wooler commented: “We embraced it early for an SME and that’s paying off for us. It’s a more efficient way of designing. It is changing the face of building.
